 Family History

Cahill is a name of Irish origin. In Irish, It is the anglicized version of the Gaelic "Ó Cathail" meaning "descendant of Cathal." "Cathal" consists of two parts: "cath" means battle; the second could be "val" (rule), so that the name as a whole meant "battle ruler" or "strong in battle", or it could be "all" (great), so that the name as a whole meant "great warrior".

One day lowell and I were home alone while Mom and Dad were working. I was making a sandwich in the pantry and a mouse jumped out of the cupboard and onto the floor.I was jumping around, calling my brother to rescue me. He told me, 'you go stand in the hallway, I'm going to scare it and you kill it, hit it with the broom' so I stood behind the wall, I heard him yell 'NOW!' I closed my eyes and swung the broom to the floor as hard as I could. I flattened the mouse. He was laying upside down, one leg up and the tongue hanging out.

I had my friend over one day while I was babysitting robin. We were just having a little fun at her expense but she didn’t like that too much. When she finally had enough she took the marmalade jar and threw it at my head, it missed and hit the wall. There was marmalade everywhere! Her and my friend and I cleaned it up before mom and dad got home but about a week later my mom walked by a glob of jelly on the wall. ‘what is this doing on the wall?!’ we both shrugged and walked away.
